Basic Rules

+ Respect Everyone.

This should be a given. The staff here try very hard to make this a friendly environment for everyone, and we don't want someone going around throwing insults at people. You should respect the staff, members, and forum.

+ No Fights.

No fighting on the site's chat box, or on the boards. Take it to the PMs. If you cannot resolve a problem take it up with the admin and we'll try and help you through.

+Don't Ask for a Staff Position

If you ask to be an admin, you probably are someone that doesn't need to be staff and all I will do is ignore you.

+ No Spam.

Spam includes posting back to back messages on the boards or the C-Box. Also posting offensive messages or any repetitive messages without a significant meaning.

→ The warning system

♣ Something we should start getting used to. =] When you break a rule, you have to be punished, in some way. You will receive a warning either by Serenity, Moon, or Jay. After you receive more than 3 warnings, you will receive a banishment from the website, temporary or permanently.

→ Respecting Each Other

♣ Maybe the most important rule. Respecting each other is a rule everyone here should follow, although as I have seen it's quite often broken. From now on this rule will get slightly stricter. Guys, sometimes people might take something you say harder than you think, so better avoid it as much as possible. If you see someone insulting someone else on the forums or the C-box, please report it to me, Silver, Serenity or Night, via PM.

→ Giving out the address of this website on online games such as FLAB 3

♣ I'd suggest taking the person to a different room where you will be alone and then giving them the address. Don't let random people know about our website, sometimes it might cause more problems than you think.

→ Spamming

♣ The most frequently broken rule. But what is this SPAM? Spam = Stupid, Pointless, Annoying Messages. Spam includes posting random things on random threads and going off topic. Please report any spam posts you see by clicking the "Report Post" on the bottom of the message. This way we can keep the forums nice and clean. If you get caught spamming on purpose, you will, obviously, receive a warning.

An Update On Forum Rules!

Hello Folks! Like Red, who has posted above ... A very long time ago; I have Serenity's permission to get out the feather duster and polish away the Cobwebs surrounding the Forum Rules!

→A bit more on Spamming

- Spamming, as stated above is one of the most broken rules of a regular online society. Spamming leads to a formal warning and if gradual spamming occurs, it leads to a warning. Warnings can be put on by staff members if they think that members are being Cheeky and Naughty. Where is the Warning Bar? You can't see it ... It's hidden from you :] Excessive spam after several warnings may lead to a temporary ban or a permanent ban depending on the the intensity of Spam.

→ Trolls ... TROLOLOLOLOLOLOL

- Trolls are found everywhere, they are not that rare either. Trolls only want to pick a fight, they only want to annoy people. Why? They consider it fun. They are sick-minded people. I advise you to ignore them and use the nifty little thing at the bottom of a post. The -Report Post- Hyperlink. Don't fight them. If you do, then you shall be giving them what they want. Attention. Leave Troll be, For Thy Mod Shall cometh

→ Sock Puppeting ... Whut?

I know some of you may know what this means but I'll tell you anyway. A Sock puppet is a person who creates multiple accounts and talk with them, debating, agreeing on each others opinions .... Though it's basically some Guy wanting attention? Basically one person holding up two/or more puppets! If you suspect a Sock Puppet, PM a Mod about it. Don't go around saying; So and So is the Same person, LOL XD The IP address shall be looked up and they'll be told about it and/or banned. Sometimes there may be exceptions. Look here for some information that is linked to this cause.

→ Flame Wars ... Give us some Off-Topic Fire!

A Flame War is something that starts as Flame post. Someone writes something Offensive to another member/s or some Random Off-Topic post that can spark an argument. On some extreme cases, the Forum is on Flame! Threads made about each other and everyone arguing! Well, Flame-Wars Result in locked threads that'll scar the Forum's initial purpose. No Flammable Posts Please xD

There shall be more to come ... For the Internet forum is highly diverse in a social aspect and a visual way of looking at it.

More Forum Rules (I'm not gonna give you a Break)

Heyho Folks!

Once again, like Red, I have Serenity's permission to once again update the Forum Rules.

→ Locked, Stickyed, Annouced & Fired Threads, What and Why?

What may these little icons be? If you haven't noticed Why are they there? What are the reasons they are like that? Let us start, A locked Thread. They are threads that you can't reply to. All means of posting on that thread are disabled, unless you're clever enough to get around it. They are locked because they are either against people's beliefs or they have no relevance or they could just be spam topics, or something worse. Well, isn't that enough? I suggest you don't try any of these things for we have ninja's stalking the forums.

Stickyed threads, people PM me what they are and stuff. A stickyed thread is a thread that is above every other thread. The purpose of this is because the first thing on the list catches people's eyes. Not all threads are stickyed, people for some reason are stickying random art threads and I Un-sticky them for it's not fair if someone's thread catches more attention than other threads. You can PM a Mod if you want a thread to be stickyed ... I doubt it'll be stickyed though. Well normally, stickyed things are normally important temporary notices.

OMG! The thread's on FIRE! Why? A flamed thread is a thread that has a lot of posts. Mods and Admins can change the amount of posts needed for a Flamed thread! Well it's just a thread that has the enough posts to require the flaming stage.

Announcements ... OMG! They're everywhere! An announced thread is at the TOP! Higher than a stickyed thread! They are threads that are the ones that you gotta look at (normally). They are the things that are the very highest threads. They are normally admin posts ... Though I have done it to a few of my threads. Well, I think you know what they are, so I think going into an internal conversation won't do us very good. So I think you get that type of thread already!
