Three Strikes You're Out
The Warnings and Strikes system is back after a long hiatus(in English for the rest of us.. Hiatus means a break or a recess-Forestheart)! Well, not technically a hiatus, but it has returned and will be enforced starting today! So it's best everyone takes another lookie at what will and will not be punished.
What is a Strike?
A strike, in simple terms, is a bad mark on a person. This means that they have done something bad that warrants a strike, or a warning. It could be anything from trolling to disobeying orders. But this will be explained in the next section. If a person accumulates 3 strikes there will be a punishment. There are however exceptions, some actions require immediate action to be taken, such as fights, this will also be explained in a later section. Just as strikes can be given they can also be taken away. So in essence, Strikes = Warnings given for bad behavior and if a person gets 3 Strikes, like in baseball, they are given a punishment, but if the person is on good behavior for a time period the Strike can be removed.
How To Get a Strike:
Punishments & Consequences:
Well, as I am sure this is everyone's favorite part,Not.Punishments & Consequences are decided by any staff member on transformice at the time the incident may occur, but if the problem is more serious, Staff Members will hold a jury either on Transformice or the Hiddenclan Website. Now, not every bad thing you may do is going to get a strike and vice versa. Not every bad thing is just going to get one strike. This depends on several things. First, your position in the tribe. For example, if an Elite Warrior is acting up he/she may be de-ranked for the time being. The strike is also depended on what he or she may have done. As in Swearing compared to betraying the Clan. Finally, the ultimate consequence is going to be different for someone who accidently slipped a swear word a few times compared to someone who keeps disobeying orders given from Serenity. All strikes are held in the staff room, so if you get one you do not need to worry about people finding out. So here are some of the strikes so stay good and you might just get a cookie *-*
Kicking VS. Banning
Kicking and banning go hand in hand, but there is a difference. Kicking is often a reflex to most mods, this is one of the reasons the Elites of the past have gotten in trouble over abuse of power. We are hoping to change this. Think before you kick. Kicking is often temporary. It is definitely the best way to get a message across to someone that what they are doing is wrong. If that is the purpose of your kick, then mission accomplished. Banning, on the other hand is more permanent, set in stone. If you plan on banning a member, your best bet is to talk with the other mods.
Kicking: Temporary, Time-out session, Warning, Get's their attention, Less serious punishment.
Banning: More Permanent, Clear time being out of the tribe, Serious punishment.
Forum VS TFM Warnings
Just as you can get in trouble on TFM, you can also get in trouble on the site. However, TFM and Forum warnings differ slightly. Spamming, for one thing, is more difficult to do on the site, than it is on TFM, therefore, the consequences given for spamming the site are slightly greater than the consequences given for spamming on TFM. The reason for this being, your intentions and being consciously aware of spamming. As you can see strikes given always differ and are based on every little fact about what you did wrong.
How to get rid of a Strike
Getting rid of strikes is fairly simple. Don't break the rules. If you haven't broken a rule for quite some time and you have a strike or two, then you may get one or both removed due to good behavior.
Good behavior = Removing strike(s)
Bad behavior = Given a strike(s)
It's as simple as that.
Important Information.
Obviously and hopefully most HC members will not have to deal with all these problems and gain strikes, but we believe this is a fair way for all cats to be equally treated in Hc. As stated in this thread, we do not wish to alienate our members. We want Hiddenclan to be a welcoming environment for everyone. For this reason, all punishment and consequences will be discussed either in the Staff Room among Staff Members or a Meeting will be held in the Conference Room with he disputing parties. If the members are having a fight on TFM then room Jury may be used. While we're at it I might as well explain the different rooms.
[/ul][/li][li] Conference Room If a major fight breaks out over the forum, it will be moved here to be settled with by the Staff. Members involved will be invited here to share both sides of the story and provide evidence if necessary until it is resolved.
[/li][li] Jury If a fight breaks out over TFM and a Staff Member is online, they may choose to move to room Jury where they will discuss the issue until it is resolved.
[/li][/ul]
Forum Rules and regulations can be found here while RP Rules and guidelines can be found here. Information on Mods is located here. If a Staff Member has a question as to whether or not a member is breaking a rule or not feel free to pm me. And lastly, Staff Members will find the list of people with strikes here

How To Get a Strike:
- Cursing.
Yes. It's gone on long enough. There are younger kids that belong to HC and they shouldn't have to listen to any of that stuff. Do it for the children ;A; Ok, ok. But seriously, even I don't like to listen to it half the time. And just so everyone knows, let me define cursing for you.
I'm pretty sure we all know words that are curse words so I wont waste time listing them, but here's something that is also included in the no cursing rule.
F***, FU, Fu*k, or any other variation of this word or any other word.Note: Here's a suggestion for those of you who have a problem with this rule. Why not replace your curse words with Warrior curses. I will allow these, since everyone that's read Warriors has seen them. Here are a few to try on for size: Mousedung, Crowfood, Foxdung, Beetlebrain, Mousebrain, ect ect
We are not saying that you can not swear, we aren't your mothers, we are just saying that you can not swear on Hiddenclan Tribe Chat or in a HC Room. Public chat is free game, if you want to make a fool of yourself, go right ahead. To make this clear, I am gonna define what a HC room is, so nobody gets confused. A HC room is a room in which HC Members outnumber random members, OR a room with a couple(2-3) HC Members and less than three random people in it. - Disrespect.
Disrespect will Not be tolerated at all! We are a clan, and as a clan we respect everyone. I don't care if you don't like a particular person, but you will respect them. Respect is very important so everyone in the clan is happier. That means respect privacy, feelings, powers, and most importantly respect each other as equals. Violating this rule multiple times will get you in major trouble. What this all means is, even if you do not like someone, you will no be rude to them or show them any sort of disrespect. At least you should tolerate that person. - Being Annoying
Being annoying, first of all, is not going to win you a lot of friends in the tribe. What people find annoying varies from person to person, so I will point out the most obvious things that people find annoying.- Laughing at people when they are not happy.
Definitely going to piss people off. It's like egging on an unhappy tiger. It may seem funny at first, but in the long run, it won't turn out pretty if you continue. - Spamming them!
That includes Tribe Chat, Room Chat or whispers. No one likes spam c-c - Being rude to them.
This ties back to the Disrespect rule. It will not be tolerated.
And all the other things annoying, I dare not mention. Of course we're not going to yell at you if one person says you're annoying. [We will probably just feed you to seren.] But on a serious note, if someone finds you annoying, we will just give you a warning, and next time you will know not to do that in front of or at that person. - Laughing at people when they are not happy.
- Spamming
By now, everyone should know what spam is, but let me clarify once more. Spam=Stupid, Pointless, Annoying Messages. Spamming means rapidly typing and pressing enter so the chat keeps going down, this includes deactivating and reactiving tribe chat repeatedly. Do not spam on tribe chat or a HC Room. If you type in 2 or 3 things really fast no one is gonna care but like 10+ your probably going to get a warning from a deputy or Serenity! So please, don't spam. - Disobeying Orders.
This category, is generally used as a safety net for us Mods. I'm serious. It's a huge umbrella and huge category in general. Meaning, almost anything and everything can fall under it. This rule came about when room Jury was being used a lot by Nightcloud and Serenitystar, usually when people didn't follow our orders and either leave the room or come to the room. Just like in the Warrior Code, leaders word is law, and while I don't usually enforce this rule, when I do, it's important that you follow my directions. If I, or one of the deputies tells you to do something, please do it. I don't want to be a dictatorship, but usually when I ask someone to do something, its important. I love getting the clans opinion on many aspects, so don't think I don't want that. Disobeying Orders is dumb, so do not do It, or Forest will come find you in your bathtub and stab you with a spork! - Over-Role-Playing.
Some of you are saying "I can get in trouble for Over-Role-Playing?" So I am gonna answer your question by saying yes! The first part is if someone, for example, is Power Playing when a bunch of people are trying to Rp, or if someone is Rping thatAnother form of Over-Role-Playing is if someone is inapropriately rping with his or her mate not in whisper or with someone else."like a million badgers are chasing them, or they jump off a cliff and 'survive'".-quoted by NightCloud. - Sex-related Content.
This is Warriors RP, NOT Girls gone Wild! I will not tolerate ANY sex related rp, private or other. This is supposed to be PG, there are young children on this site and in this clan, and I won't stand for any inappropriate content being posted anywhere around HC. Be it pictures, videos, or just talking about it. If you do have a sex related question, ask a trusted adult or good friend, not people you meet on the internet.
